About The Position

Monark Markets builds the infrastructure that connects private markets to wealth management platforms. Our APIs let brokerages, wealth platforms and financial advisors offer pre-IPO investments to their clients, directly embedded within the platforms advisors and investors already use. Monark operates through MMM Securities LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member broker-dealer, and is backed by F-Prime Capital, Commerce Ventures, The Treasury and Grit Capital Partners.

As a Capital Markets Analyst working at Monark, you'll source and close transactions in the late stage, leading pre-IPO companies. Your first route for every block is Monark's distribution network: a standing marketplace of wealth/brokerage platforms and their investors that can fill allocations through Monark's embedded SPV infrastructure, representing access to 50 million+ brokerage accounts and hundreds of billions of dollars of assets under custody. This is an in-person role, working out of our offices on Wall Street, across the street from the New York Stock Exchange.

Requirements

• Active Series 7 and Series 63 registrations.
• 3+ years transacting in the pre-IPO market
• An existing network of sellers, funds and institutional buyers of private company stock.
• Working knowledge of transfer mechanics: company consent, ROFR, SPV structures, etc.

Responsibilities

• Originate sell-side supply from shareholders, funds and supply partners in names where our investors show deep demand.
• Negotiate, price, and structure blocks, then bring them to Monark's platform network for syndication.
• Broker transactions directly, including sourcing buyers, when a platform fill isn't the right fit.
• Run deals through close: indications, company consent / ROFR, documentation and funding.
• Work with Monark's origination, deal operations and compliance teams on every transaction.
• Keep every deal, contact and communication in Monark's CRM and approved channels.
