About The Position

As a Capital Markets Analyst, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day. The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit: Responsible for supporting the finance and accounting department in executing new securitization financings and monitoring existing facilities. The person will work with different groups within the company, including risk and operations, develop a knowledge base of consumer finance in general, and improve existing processes for a growing consumer financial services company. Requirements

  • Must possess strong communication skills, extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical thinking ability.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team.
  • Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in banking, accounting, or audit
  • Knowledgeable of cash management functions, and an understanding of finance and accounting principles is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking, securitization, ABL lending, fintech, or servicing preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial services and credit card industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or Math.
  • Advanced quantitative skills, including the ability to extract and manipulate data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA and SQL querying.
  • Ability to create and modify presentations using PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledgeable of cash management functions, and an understanding of finance and accounting principles is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking, securitization, ABL lending, fintech, or servicing preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial services and credit card industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and prepare related investor reports.
  • Mine data and monitor data quality to regularly deliver crucial information used for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Design and implement new data and reporting structures, as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal constituents, bankers, lawyers, rating agencies, and investors to structure new financing facilities and modify existing ones as the business requires.
  • Work within the organization to respond to requests from rating agencies, lenders, investors, and auditors.
  • Develop relationships with current and prospective lenders by attending industry conferences.
  • Document existing and new procedures, to apply best practices and improve efficiencies.
  • Automate departmental processes to increase efficiencies and decrease errors.
  • Provide high-value analysis and insight to Concora Credit management, outside vendors, investment partners, and/or consultants.
  • Provide analytical support for financial audits.
  • Monitor ABS market and industry trends.
