Capital Improvement Technician

This role involves travel throughout the Columbia region and other parts of Missouri, with overnight travel required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of building trades
- Ability to work independently and adhere to set deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, instructions and specifications.
- Proven operation of equipment and tools needed for the role; Must have own hand and power tools.
- Must Have Current Driver’s License, Vehicle, and Insurance.
- Must Pass Background Check and Periodic Drug Testing.
- Must Be Willing to Travel and Stay Overnight.
Responsibilities
- Performs capital improvement projects to include rough and trim carpentry, plumbing, drywall repair and finishing, electrical, masonry, painting and janitorial related to major renovations and rehabs.
- Possesses reliable transportation and be able to drive to company-owned locations as needed.
- Able to drive to pick up supplies or others to complete business needs.
- Travels Monday-Friday approximately 75% of the time, with home on the weekends.
- Follows safe work practices.
- Travels to, and participates in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
