About The Position

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Capital Equipment Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The candidate will provide engineering and commissioning support for the BIL equipment engineering projects. Equipment Engineering department is responsible for engineering, delivery, and start-up of capital equipment across the organization globally. The team consists of project management and engineering support to our global manufacturing and development teams. Technical assessment and review of new technologies. Assist with the global multi-site equipment delivery planning.

Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled student
At least 2 years of college school experience.
Works well within a team environment.
Communicates effectively.
Student studying Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Graduation in 2028 or sooner
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Responsibilities

Serve as a core team member for assigned equipment design and delivery projects.
Work closely with Equipment Engineering to ensure timely delivery of new equipment and technologies to support product development and manufacturing.
Prepare process documentation to support new equipment launch, Validation and qualification of new technologies.
