About The Position

We are seeking applicants for a Capital Engineer in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in engineering required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting or equivalent experience
• Project Management skills
• Microsoft office experience including experience with Microsoft Project
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage mill capital projects, with a focus on mechanical.
• Provide engineering services to maintenance and operating department personnel as required to resolve all mechanical issues.
• Develop scope, plans, project justifications, cost estimates, engineering design, equipment and material specifications.
• Manage project costs, schedules, consultants, contractors and construction along with start-up.
• Responsible for safety plans, on-time, on-budget, trouble free projects with all customers.
• Interact with purchasing, accounting, and other departments throughout the mill.
