Cary is seeking a Capital Asset Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our asset management and capital maintenance operations. In this role, you will drive capital maintenance projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to standard. You'll be a key connector across the organization, partnering with internal teams to anticipate needs, align priorities, and keep stakeholders informed every step of the way. The Capital Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating municipal capital improvement and asset management projects. This position manages public capital projects and Public Works funded projects while assisting other project managers and Town departments on a range of facility, transportation, stormwater and utility projects and initiatives. The coordinator performs difficult professional work participating in the planning, design, construction and project management of a variety of public projects. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Capital Asset Manager.
