About The Position

We are looking for a Capillary Spooling Technician at PCS Ferguson ocated in Odessa, TX. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. SLB completed the acquisition of ChampionX on July 16, 2025. If selected for this position, your employment will begin with ChampionX and will transition to SLB as part of the planned integration.

Requirements

2 years of relevant field service work experience; preferred in oil & gas.
Strong mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, ability to read and write English
Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
Valid Class A driver's license in state of residence required
Must have a valid DOT Medical Certification Card
Must be available to work overtime and rotational on call duty

Responsibilities

Responsible for field equipment installations, troubleshooting and service of equipment.
Uses pneumatic and manual hand tools, bands cable/capillary as it is being installed into the well hole.
Responsible for the installation of downhole gauge and wireless commutations
Demonstrated ability to band or clamp capillary and TEC cable with a Forum banding tool
Develop strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication
Know and enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Completes DOT paperwork as required to include documentation and maintenance of DOT driving log.
Maintain truck and trailer per Company standards
