About The Position

The Department of Health and Human Services is hiring a part-time, 10-20 hour per week, West Central Public Health Partnership (WCPHP) Capacity Coordinator. This position promotes public health services in the region through capacity-building coordination to facilitate the Regional Public Health Improvement Plan and West Central Public Health Partnership directives. This position is currently supported by grant funding, which allows us to advance the county's strategic initiatives. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
  • Experience working with diverse ethnic and economic communities is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health
  • Two years of experience in health and human services or related field
