About The Position

The Server Assistant position assists the Food Server in providing an expertly served dining experience conforming by clearing and resetting tables according to standards. We are looking for an individual who can provide dining support in Capa, our Spanish-influenced cuisine, rooftop steakhouse and bar with 1 – 2 years of Food & Beverage experience.

Requirements

1-2 years of Food & Beverage experience
Fluent in English
Possess legal work authorization in the United States

Nice To Haves

Background in fine dining with an emphasis on high volume of 1-2 years is preferred
A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Assist food servers and bartenders with the serving of food, set-up and clearing of china, glass, and silver
Polish glassware and stocking the bar and lounge with the appropriate glassware, linens, and other tools for service
Organize and clean back of house area, dry goods and operating supplies requisitions
