About The Position

The Corrective Action Program (CAP) Analyst 1 position is responsible for administering and entering data into the PIRCS database (problem reporting system), and facilitating the Problem Review Group Screening process. In addition, provides support to program type owners and employees on PIRCS related issues. Supporting CAP functions through software and database interfaces. Assist in procedure revisions, as well as report generation and distribution to CAP customers. Also responsible for participating in Quality improvement initiatives. Interaction with CAP customers and feedback interaction is also a responsibility.

Requirements

  • B. S. degree in a Business or Technical field or in lieu of degree, eight years' experience in NFS operating, database or statistical experience.
  • With a B. S. degree one (1) year or less experience in developing, coordinating and delivering investigation and corrective action related training.
  • All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
  • Selected applicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment check and drug screening.
  • The position may require the ability to obtain and maintain applicable federal eligibility requirements for access to classified/sensitive information or matter which involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test, previous employment, and reference verifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain PIRCS administratively, facilitate communications and actions to maintain a healthy CAP Program, and facilitate the Problem Review Group PIRCS Screening Process.
  • Develop, maintain, evaluate, and distribute data reports. Generate, update, and distribute metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in procedure revision process.
  • Administer feedback process (feedback response details, individual engagement, and reporting).
  • Maintain CAP electronic and copy files in a form retrievable for internal and external auditors and inspectors.
  • Provide assistance to the CAP Manager in coordinating and delivering CAP related toolboxes.
  • Maintain proficiency in MS Office, Crystal Reports, and MS SharePoint, and eB Database interface.
  • Participate in quality improvement plan initiatives.
  • Provide instruction and support for Program Type Owners to manage their program type within the constraints of CAP procedures.
  • Support CAP Manager in coordinating and facilitating Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) meetings and oversight.
