Cannabis Processing Technician
About The Position
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Cannabis Processing Technicians to assist at a licensed cannabis facility in the Greenfield, Massachusetts, area. As a Cannabis Processing Technician, you will assist with general cannabis production, processing, and post-harvest responsibilities. You may be responsible for handling plant material, operating or working alongside basic processing equipment, sorting materials, preparing materials for the next stage of production, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You should have a strong work ethic, be dependable and punctual, and be comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment. You should be able to follow instructions, work efficiently as part of a team, and comply with all company procedures, safety requirements, and state regulations.

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be eligible to work at a licensed cannabis facility in Massachusetts
- Must successfully complete any required registration and badging requirements

- Previous experience in cannabis, agriculture, cultivation, production, manufacturing, warehousing, or a similar environment
Responsibilities
- Handling plant material
- Operating or working alongside basic processing equipment

- Standing for up to 8 hours during a workday
- Working around and handling cannabis plant material for up to 8 hours during a workday
- Frequently lifting, carrying, moving, and positioning materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Performing repetitive hand, arm, bending, reaching, and standing movements
- Handling and processing plant material according to facility procedures
- Working around basic production and processing equipment
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Performing other general processing and post-harvest duties as assigned
