This full-time position (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) is for an existing vacancy and reports to the Supervisor. Processing personnel support post-harvest cannabis processing activities under direct supervision, executing assigned tasks related to post-harvest processing. This role is crucial for maintaining product quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance throughout the post-harvest lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Agriculture and Collection Practices (GACP), and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written SOPs and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and follow high operational standards.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements (trimming, sorting, packaging prep).
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as required.
  • Ability to work in environments with plant material, cannabis dust, and controlled temperature/humidity conditions.
  • Use of PPE including gloves, hair nets, beard covers, lab coats, and masks as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Cannabis experience is preferred but NOT required.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing, food, agriculture, or pharmaceutical environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support post-harvest cannabis processing activities including harvesting support, racking, drying, de-racking, bucking, curing, trimming, and cleaning.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations for health and safety, production needs, and maintaining high product quality standards.
  • Report any possible quality issues or concerns to the Team Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools such as pruners, manual and electric pump jacks, scales, and computers.
  • Accept processing guidance from Team Leads and Supervisors.
  • Operate, verify, and clean precision equipment, which may include handheld moisture readers, Keirton trimming machines, Munch Machines, and cannabis sorters.
  • Identify and remove non-conforming product.
  • Receive training and education for specific tasks and duties.
  • Be trained to work in Greenhouse processes in the event of planned or unplanned Post Harvest Downtime.
