We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Post-Harvest Technician to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical cannabis market into a reality. Our Cannabis Trimmers/Packagers will work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill (St. Louis, MO 63144). Full-time employees will receive medical benefits and paid time off. The schedule is Monday-Friday ~7:30 am-4 pm. Starting pay rate is $17/hour. No experience is needed; we will train you for success!

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High diploma or GED
  • Passion for medical cannabis
  • Strong preference for fast trimmers with experience trimming large volumes in a professional setting
  • Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by the start date, which includes submitting fingerprints and passing a criminal background check
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Horticultural degree
  • Previous professional experience trimming cannabis
  • Gardening production experience, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption
  • Manufacturing experience with an understanding of operations
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently processes flowers during the post-production phase: Preparing and trimming in a quick, precise, and dexterous manner, Maintaining the high-quality appearance and structural integrity of the cannabis plant, Ensuring the least amount of waste possible is produced, Assisting in the product transfer into the dry room, Weighing out product accurately to prepare for packaging, Recording data in all necessary software platforms, Working as part of a team to meet production schedules, Assisting in the packaging process as required.
  • Ensures assigned facility area is clean and safe: Maintaining a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination, Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained.
