Packaging Tech (Evening Shift)
About The Position
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for temporary Cannabis Packaging Technicians to work at their production facility 40 mins Northeast of Amherst, MA. This role is ideal for individuals with an exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to punctuality. The position offers the potential for permanent hire for high-performing individuals. The shift is Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for measuring, packaging, and labeling cannabis products. You may also be involved in collecting samples and performing quality control tests, as well as other processing tasks. While prior cannabis packaging experience is not mandatory, a strong background in adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures is essential. The ability to follow standard operating procedures meticulously is required. The role demands the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours continuously. This is a fast-paced environment for individuals who are punctual and eager to contribute 100% daily.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Proven work ethic
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time
- Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
- Experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures
