Packaging Tech (Evening Shift)
About The Position
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for temporary Cannabis Packaging Technicians to work at their production facility 60 mins Northwest of Worcester, MA. This role is ideal for individuals with an exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to punctuality. The company is a thriving Cannabis company, and there is potential for permanent hire for high-performing individuals. The Packaging Technician will be responsible for measuring, packaging, and labeling cannabis products. Additional duties may include collecting samples and performing quality control tests, as well as other processing tasks as needed. While prior cannabis packaging experience is not mandatory, a strong background in adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures is essential. The ability to meticulously follow standard operating procedures is required. The role demands the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours daily. This position is suited for punctual individuals who are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment and contributing 100% daily.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Massachusetts
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands
- Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
- Ability to arrive on time
- Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
- Experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures
