About The Position

VIBE Cannabis is seeking Manufacturing Production Team Members for their facility in St. Louis, MO. The company, operating since January 2022, is rapidly expanding and looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about plants. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of building something significant in the growing cannabis industry. The Manufacturing Production Team Member will support the manufacturing team with daily tasks, ensure product quality, and assist with packaging and general lab work as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience with a licensed cannabis company.
  • High School Diploma
  • Able to work in loud areas.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Capable of working in dark or bright environments.
  • Able to work in low oxygen areas.
  • Capable of working with or around caustic and potentially harmful chemicals.
  • Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Willing to participate in an extensive background check.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Computer Literature (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's / Associates Degree in related fields.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis plant.
  • Experience working with plants or other commodity crops.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
  • Clean glassware and sensitive lab equipment, as well as general cleaning of the lab areas.
  • Work at an efficient pace in a production environment while gramming out and packaging all concentrate products and vape cartridges.
  • Lift loads up to 50lbs.
  • Operate technical machinery, following company SOPs.
  • Perform general maintenance of equipment, tools, and workspace.
  • Prepare equipment and plant materials for extraction, including but not limited to dry biomass grinding and fresh biomass packing in a freezer environment.
  • Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the laboratory, as well as data logs for the various extraction processes.
  • Operate cannabis extraction equipment in a safe, productive manner.
  • Perform the following types of cannabis oil processing: Closed loop extraction, Simple distillation or solvent recovery, Short path distillation, Winterization, Filtration, Solventless extraction, Rosin pressing, Edible Production.
  • Proficiently handle the following hazardous materials: Butane, Propane, compressed Argon or Nitrogen, Ethanol, Isopropyl alcohol, Acetone, as well as hot and cold materials utilizing proper PPE.
  • Ensure all tools are in working order and clean to prevent the spread of potential diseases.
  • Aid in the development of protocols to limit cross contamination and ensure team members are adhering to SOPs when in cultivation areas.
  • Maintain all paperwork and records, ensuring any assigned data forms and logs are accurately filled out and completed in a timely manner.
