The Legal Resource Center for Public Health Policy (LRC) at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law is seeking a Fellow or Staff Attorney for a full-time, non-tenure track position. The selected candidate will provide legal technical assistance on a wide range of cannabis law and policy issues to various stakeholders including state and local public health departments, executive agencies, legislators, law enforcement, government attorneys, community-based organizations, and judges. Responsibilities include offering brief telephone advice, preparing written responses, developing educational resources and policy papers, tracking legislation and regulations, creating model laws and policies, and conducting training sessions. The role involves in-state travel and potential out-of-state travel for conferences. Other related duties may be assigned. This is a grant-funded position with the possibility of renewal.
