About The Position

The Candidate Experience Specialist plays a key role in delivering positive, consistent, and engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process. This position supports the Candidate Experience team by partnering with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders to ensure candidates are effectively engaged, informed, and moved through the hiring process in a timely manner.The Candidate Experience Specialist will support recruiting activities for frontline positions across TouchPoint Support Services, with a focus on candidate engagement, communication, recruiting coordination and process execution. This role serves as an ambassador for the TouchPoint employment brand and helps ensure every candidate interaction reflects our commitment to service, respect, and excellence.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, relationship-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, customer service, candidate experience, administrative support, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to learn and effectively utilize recruiting technology and applicant tracking systems.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience supporting high-volume or frontline recruiting.
Experience with applicant tracking systems or recruiting platforms.
Experience with virtual recruiting, hiring events, career fairs, or community recruiting.
Experience working in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, food service, or another high-volume service environment.
Experience with People Hub, Paradox/Olivia, JobSync, or similar recruiting technology.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
Provide timely, professional, and engaging communication to hiring managers regarding applications, interviews, offers, pre-employment requirements, and next steps.
Build positive relationships with candidates / hiring managers and ensure they feel informed, respected, and supported throughout the hiring journey.
Respond to hiring managers / candidate questions and concerns and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
Identify opportunities to improve candidate engagement, communication, and overall experience.
Represent TouchPoint's culture, values, and employment brand in every candidate interaction.
Support the recruitment process for frontline positions across assigned locations and service lines.
Review applications and assist with candidate screening and qualification activities.
Conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screening conversations as needed.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Oversee the consistent follow-up with candidates and hiring managers to keep candidates moving through the recruitment process.
Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, recruiting campaigns, and other talent acquisition activities.
Support hiring events, career fairs, community recruiting initiatives, and virtual recruiting events.
Develop and maintain relationships with external community organizations, workforce programs, schools, and other talent sources as assigned.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, candidate requirements, and recruitment priorities.
Provide guidance and support to managers regarding the candidate experience and recruiting process.
Follow up with hiring managers on candidate status, interview feedback, offers, and outstanding hiring activities.
Help managers understand their role in creating positive and efficient candidate experience.
Escalate recruiting challenges and recommend solutions to improve hiring outcomes.
Support the transition from candidate to new hire by helping ensure candidates receive clear communication and timely next steps.
Monitor candidates through the hiring process and identify potential delays or barriers to successful onboarding.
Partner with HR and operational teams to resolve onboarding issues and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
Utilize recruiting and candidate experience technology, including People Hub, Paradox/Olivia and other applicable systems.
Follow established recruiting workflows, processes, and Candidate Experience standards.
Identify system or process issues and communicate recommendations for improvement.
Assist with testing and implementation of new recruiting tools, processes, and technology as assigned.
Track and monitor candidate activity and recruitment progress.
Assist with reporting on recruiting activity, candidate pipeline, hiring activity, and Candidate Experience metrics.
Support department goals related to time-to-offer, time-to-hire, candidate engagement, retention, and overall recruitment effectiveness.
Use data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
Participate in Candidate Experience initiatives designed to improve recruitment and onboarding outcomes.
Support the development and execution of recruiting campaigns and candidate engagement strategies.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to continuously improve the Candidate Experience function.
Assist with special projects and other Talent Acquisition initiatives as assigned.
