About The Position

Do you enjoy working with students and early-career professionals? As a Campus Candidate Experience Coordinator on the General Mills Talent Acquisition team, you will support day-to-day campus recruiting and hiring activities. You will serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview, travel, assessment, offer, and onboarding processes, with a particular focus on the summer internship program. In this role, you will build relationships with assigned business functions, HR Business Partners, interviewers, Campus Leads, external candidates, and Talent Acquisition colleagues. You will help deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and engaging candidate experience while staying current on trends and innovative recruiting practices. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least two years of administrative experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including with executives, students, candidates, customers, suppliers, and General Mills management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach with experience in analysis and reporting.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage multiple detailed tasks, including in an environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Desire to continuously improve the way we hire and stay informed about recruiting practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when priorities, roles, or business needs change.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams, as well as HCM and recruiting applications. Willingness to learn and master additional software programs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting administration for assigned business functions, including candidate communications, interview scheduling, and pre-employment contingency processes.
  • Coordinate interview-day logistics, support calibration meetings, and create an exceptional candidate experience through timely communications, touchpoints, and virtual and in-person networking.
  • Administer candidate assessments in virtual and in-person settings.
  • Track and report critical candidate workflow information accurately using Workday Recruiting, web-based applicant tracking tools, and other company-supported software.
  • Build trust with candidates and internal stakeholders by responding promptly and providing accurate information.
  • Develop partnerships across the organization, including with business partners, facilities, meeting services, HR Direct, relocation, functional senior leaders, and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate functions, plants, and business centers nationwide.
  • Lead planning committees that support summer internship programming.
  • Partner with recruiters to support functional interns throughout the recruiting and internship lifecycle.
  • Execute virtual and in-person internship events in partnership with the Intern Program Specialist.
  • Serve as a talent brand ambassador internally and externally.
  • Initiate Workday requisitions and coordinate hiring activities for full-time and intern candidates.
  • Manage onboarding and hiring tasks for full-time and intern hires.
  • Complete projects and additional administrative responsibilities identified by the recruiter or manager.
  • Co-host on-site candidate immersion days.
