About The Position

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening working for the position of Campus Tours and Events Assistant , working 15-20 hours per week in the Transfer Services Department with an anticipated start date of February 16, 2026. As the Campus Tours and Events Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conduct campus tours to prospective students and families during assigned shifts and special events. Conduct pre- and post-tour communications to campus visitors to answer questions and help connect them to campus resources. Assist the Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator and the Programs and Experiences Coordinator with tasks related to the First-Year Experience, Transfer Student Seminars, and other special events. Perform general administrative and customer service duties. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (current TSC student preferred)
  • Engaging personality and ability to interact comfortably with prospective students, families, and other campus visitors
  • High level of professionalism and initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to conduct campus tours on foot in varying weather conditions (Florida heat and humidity; winter cold; rain)
