About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Campus Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations at an educational facility in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for mentoring officers while maintaining a secure campus environment.

Requirements

Valid New York State Security Guard License.
Minimum of 6 months of security experience required.
Current First Aid/CPR Certification required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a security environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficient report-writing and incident documentation abilities.
Must be willing to commute to Poughkeepsie, NY.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support security personnel during assigned shifts.
Ensure officers are performing duties in accordance with site policies and procedures.
Conduct patrols and inspections of campus buildings and grounds.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
Assist with investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for officers and site management.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
Maintain a visible leadership presence and promote a culture of professionalism and accountability.
