About The Position

Reporting to the Campus Security Manager, this position is responsible for promoting and maintaining the safety and security of students, faculty, employees, visitors, and property. Responsibilities include patrolling and monitoring buildings and grounds, preventing incidents, detecting signs of criminal or suspicious activity, conducting mechanical and "punch" rounds per shift, responding promptly to emergency situations, providing first aid if needed, alerting police or emergency personnel as appropriate, and de-escalating difficult situations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous security or law enforcement experience
• First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities
