About The Position

Securitas is seeking Campus Security Officers and Part Time TWIC Officers for open interviews. Campus Security Officers require a professional demeanor, ability to maintain boundaries with students, perform mobile patrols (walking 5-8 miles daily), work outdoors in inclement weather, possess strong customer service and computer skills, and have open availability. Part Time TWIC Officers are for weekend positions only, requiring open availability on Saturdays and Sundays, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Experience is preferred but not required for TWIC officers. Securitas offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, employee perks, and assistance with education. The pay rate for Campus Security Officers is $16/hour, and for Part Time TWIC Officers, it is $17/hour and up. All security positions are full-time and part-time with all shifts available. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check. They must also meet and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards. Job requirements include observing and reporting activities, ensuring the safety of client property and personnel, and may involve frequent sitting, standing, walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and walking on uneven terrain. Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Open availability on Saturday and Sunday (for Part Time TWIC Officers).
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Reliable transportation.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Pass our drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

TWIC is preferred but not required.
Experience preferred but not required (for Part Time TWIC Officers).
1 year of security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Perform mobile patrol duties, including walking approximately 5–8 miles per day.
Work outdoors in inclement weather as required.
Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid fraternization with students (for Campus Security Officers).
