Open Interviews for Campus Security Officers and Part Time TWIC Officers
About The Position
Securitas is hiring for Campus Security Officers and Part Time TWIC Officers. The Campus Security Officer role requires a professional demeanor, ability to maintain boundaries with students, perform mobile patrols (walking 5-8 miles daily), work outdoors in various weather, possess strong customer service skills, maintain a professional appearance, have solid computer skills, and open availability. The Part Time TWIC Officer position is a weekend-only role requiring open availability on Saturdays and Sundays, the ability to stand for extended periods, and while experience is preferred, it is not required. Both roles are considered full-time and part-time with all shifts available. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and open availability for weekends and flexible scheduling are mandatory. Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check, and meeting applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements. The job involves observing and reporting activities, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel, frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, potentially climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain, and lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be open to working weekends and have a flexible schedule.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass our drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Open availability required (for Campus Security Officer).
- Must have open availability on Saturday and Sunday (for Part Time TWIC Officer).
Nice To Haves
- TWIC is preferred but not required.
- 1 year of security experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Perform mobile patrol duties, including walking approximately 5–8 miles per day.
- Work outdoors in inclement weather as required.
- Maintain professional demeanor and appropriate boundaries with students.
