Open Interviews for Campus Security Officers and Part-Time TWIC Officers
About The Position
Securitas is hiring for Campus Security Officers and Part-Time TWIC Officers. The Campus Security Officer role requires a professional demeanor, the ability to avoid fraternization with students, and perform mobile patrol duties which may include walking 5-8 miles daily and working outdoors in inclement weather. Strong customer service skills, a professional appearance, solid computer skills, and open availability are essential. The Part-Time TWIC Officer position is a weekend-only role requiring open availability on Saturdays and Sundays, with the ability to stand for extended periods. Experience is preferred but not required for the TWIC Officer role. Both roles are full-time and part-time with all shifts available. Security positions require passing a drug screen and background check, and meeting applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements. Responsibilities include observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel. This may involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be open to working weekends and have a flexible schedule.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Pass our drug screen and background check.
- Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
- Professional demeanor.
- Solid computer skills.
- Open availability required (for Campus Security Officer).
- Open availability on Saturday and Sunday (for Part-Time TWIC Officer).
Nice To Haves
- TWIC is preferred but not required.
- Experience preferred but not required (for Part-Time TWIC Officer).
- 1 year of security experience preferred.
Responsibilities
