About The Position

Securitas is hiring Campus Security Officers and Part-Time TWIC Officers. These roles involve observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel. The positions require a professional demeanor, strong customer service skills, and the ability to meet and maintain licensing requirements. Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

TWIC is preferred but not required.
1 year of security experience preferred.
Experience preferred but not required (for Part-Time TWIC Officer).

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Perform mobile patrol duties, including walking approximately 5–8 miles per day.
Work outdoors in inclement weather as required.
Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid fraternization with students (for Campus Security Officer role).
Stand for extended periods of time (for Part-Time TWIC Officer role).
