About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at Silverado High School. This role involves monitoring campus activity, enforcing school policies, and responding to security concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong observational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and enforce policies consistently.
- Must be able to complete a three (3) year work history in the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.

Responsibilities
- Monitor campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety and security.
- Enforce school rules and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Report suspicious activities to appropriate authorities.
- Assist with visitor management and access control.
- Collaborate with school staff and law enforcement when necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats.
