About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at Silverado High School. This role involves monitoring campus activity, enforcing school policies, and responding to security concerns. The position operates on a 9-month schedule with 7-hour workdays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work 7 hours per day for 9 months.
- Completion of a three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Attached required documents at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Monitor campus activity to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce school policies and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Patrol school grounds and buildings.
- Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Assist students, staff, and visitors with security-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with school administration and law enforcement when necessary.
