About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors at Silverado High School. This role involves monitoring campus activity, enforcing school policies, and responding to security concerns. The position is for a 9-month work year with 7-hour shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of the entire three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
- Ability to work 9 months per year, 7 hours per day.
- Must attach required documents at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Monitor campus activity to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce school policies and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Patrol school grounds and buildings.
- Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Assist in maintaining order during school events.
- Collaborate with school staff and local law enforcement when necessary.
