About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring campus activities to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. The Campus Security Monitor will observe and report any suspicious activities, enforce campus rules and regulations, and respond to emergencies as needed. This role requires vigilance, good judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Requirements

• High school transcript or other equivalent (i.e., GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Successful completion of the District’s Campus Security Monitor Training (must be completed prior to start date).
• Current CPR/AED certificate (front and back copy required).
• Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety and security.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
• Enforce campus rules and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
• Assist with visitor management and access control.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with school staff and local law enforcement when necessary.
