About The Position
The Campus Security Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors within the school premises. This role involves monitoring campus activity, enforcing school policies, and responding to security concerns. The position operates on a 9-month schedule with 8-hour workdays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
- Good observational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public.
- Must be able to complete a three (3) year work history in the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
Responsibilities
- Monitor campus grounds and buildings to ensure safety and security.
- Enforce school rules and regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Report suspicious activities to appropriate authorities.
- Assist in maintaining order during school events.
- Conduct security checks and patrols.
- Collaborate with school staff and local law enforcement when necessary.
