About The Position
This position is responsible for monitoring school grounds to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors. The Campus Security Monitor will patrol the campus, respond to incidents, enforce school policies, and assist with emergency situations. This is a 9-month position with 7-hour workdays, located in a rural area.
Requirements
- High school transcript or other equivalent (i.e., GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Successful completion of the District’s Campus Security Monitor Training prior to the start date.
- Current CPR/AED certificate (front and back copy required).
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor school grounds to ensure safety and security.
- Patrol campus and identify potential security risks.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies.
- Enforce school policies and regulations.
- Assist students, staff, and visitors.
- Report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Collaborate with school administration and law enforcement when necessary.
