The Campus Safety Monitor (CSM) position is responsible for maintaining the physical security of the assigned school location and assisting building administrators with continuous campus monitoring. This role involves supervising students during transitions, identifying and reporting safety concerns, conducting security assessments, and ensuring the security of exterior doors and various areas within the school. The CSM will also attend training, maintain confidentiality, participate in meetings, and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes assisting with traffic management and performing other assigned duties.
