About The Position

As a Campus Police Officer, you will perform general-duty police work to protect life and property, enforce laws and ordinances, maintain order, and prevent and investigate crime in support of Washington State University. We’re currently accepting applications to build a candidate pool for potential future opportunities. While there are no openings available at this time, we encourage you to apply for future consideration. This is a full (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Twenty-one years of age.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • No previous felony convictions.
  • U.S Citizenship.
  • Two years of full-time college; OR one year of police experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain certification or complete a basic law enforcement course as approved by the Washington Law Enforcement Officer’s Training Commission.
