About The Position

This is an auxiliary position for a Campus Monitor/Crossing Guard at Horizon Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is for 180 days, working 4 hours per day, with a salary range of $13.25 per hour. The closing date for applications is August 20, 2026, at 12 Noon.

Requirements

• One (1) to Two (2) years working with children, preferred
• Ability to record information
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work effectively with Elementary, Middle, and High School students, staff, and parents
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
• Some knowledge in traffic rules
• Demonstrate knowledge of standard safety procedures used in protecting and crossing students at congested intersections
• Must be able to work an intermittent schedule
• Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent (If applicable)
• Copy of driver's license
• Current resume
