About The Position

Living Hope Community Church is looking for a Campus Facility Coordinator for our Doylestown campus. This person runs facility repairs and improvement projects so our building is safe, well kept, and ready for ministry every week. You'll work closely with our campus staff, coordinate contractors and vendors, and lead a volunteer team that prepares our spaces for weekday and Sunday groups and events.

Requirements

  • Experience with building maintenance, repairs, or facilities work
  • General working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and the judgment to know when to call a contractor
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage several projects at once
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and shared calendars
  • Good communication skills with staff, volunteers, and vendors
  • Able to recruit, lead, and encourage volunteers
  • Agrees with Living Hope's Vision, Mission, Values, and Guiding Principles, and will follow the Employee Handbook and church Constitution
  • Attends staff and campus meetings

Responsibilities

  • Manage facility repairs and projects
  • Keep the facility work order and project spreadsheet current and accurate
  • Manage work order requests with the Facility Team Leader: delegate tasks, coordinate projects, and get supplies as needed
  • Plan and track routine preventive maintenance so small issues don't become big repairs
  • Schedule and coordinate contractors and vendors for building maintenance and repairs, working with the Welcome Center Coordinators on visit times
  • Work with the facility coordinators at our other campuses to share lists and best practices
  • Stay in close contact with the Campus Ministry Coordinator so our spaces work well for the Facility Team and groups
  • Walk the building and grounds regularly to spot safety issues, maintenance needs, and anything that needs attention before groups arrive
  • Know what's happening in the building
  • Communicate regularly with the Welcome Center Coordinator and Campus Ministry Coordinator
  • Follow events and groups on the Planning Center calendar
  • Lead the Facility Fresh Team
  • Build a volunteer team that gets the building ready for weekday and Sunday groups and events
  • Coach the team to make a great first impression in our spaces
