About The Position

The Campus Director provides spiritual leadership, operational excellence, community development, fundraising, establishing healthy vocational training options, and the overall vision of the ministry on a local level, organizing its resources to fulfill the overall vision of Hope Center Ministries. As a minister of the gospel, the Campus Director is responsible for facilitating marriages, communion, baptisms, and funerals as opportunities present themselves, serving the spiritual needs of individuals and communities through these important moments of life and faith.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the Bible.
  • Working knowledge of Celebrate Recovery 12 steps and 8 Principles (Beatitudes).
  • Basic knowledge of human behavior.
  • Basic knowledge of A & D services and career advising and guidance.
  • General knowledge of teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
  • Ability to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Ability to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances.
  • Must have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and live a life according to Biblical standards.
  • Agree with the Statement of Faith, Lifestyle Statement, and overall vision of Hope Center Ministries.
  • Successfully pass drug and alcohol tests, background screening, and social media, personal, and professional reference checks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the message of Jesus is presented and provide avenues of application that residents understand.
  • Be conscientious about the future of Hope Center Ministries.
  • Demonstrate a genuine spiritual life through teaching, leadership, and relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director on plans for the evolution of their local center.
  • Be a cooperative, self-confident motivator and an effective team builder.
  • Provide staff with direction and tools for their jobs.
  • Ensure the campus is healthy and growing.
  • Lead and develop staff so they can lead volunteers and community leaders.
  • Participate in fulfilling the overall vision of Hope Center Ministries.
  • Create a leadership process that develops key leaders, next level leaders, and emerging leaders.
  • Train interns and apprentices through mentoring and coaching.
  • Devise ways to expand resident ownership.
  • Meet monthly with other Campus Directors for development.
  • Evaluate and eliminate potential risks to residents.
  • Direct and supervise campus staff.
  • Hold weekly staff meetings for leadership development.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Regional Director to address budget, fundraising, and donations.
  • Perform related duties assigned by the Regional Director.
  • Maintain compliance with all Hope Center Ministries policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Vocational Training budgets are met and continually increasing.
  • Strive to find additional, healthy vocational training contracts on a continual basis.
  • Ensure proper training is provided by partners.
  • Develop new relationships with Vocational Training partners.
  • Lead all campus fundraising events.
  • Strive to improve fundraisers.
  • Collaborate with the Directional Team and CFO to obtain or exceed fundraising goals.
  • Develop new and innovative recruitment techniques (Word of Mouth, Church Speaking Engagements, Recovery Community Events, Distribution of Literature).
  • Be a model of interaction with the community and local churches.
