Rowntree Montessori Schools is a member of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a consortium of high performing international schools located across the globe. The School Campus Coordinator is responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of the campus, ensuring a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment for students, staff, and families. This leadership role supports campus operations, admissions, staff supervision, student programs, and compliance while promoting a positive school culture and exceptional customer service. This is a twelve-month leadership position requiring flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend events, admissions activities, and school functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in education, school administration, or campus operations.
  • Experience supervising staff and coordinating school programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily campus operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  • Manage office operations, records, attendance, purchasing, inventory, and administrative processes.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, facility needs, scheduling, and campus readiness.
  • Support school events, assemblies, and special projects.
  • Maintain high standards of organization, presentation, and customer service.
  • Conduct campus tours and support admissions events, open houses, and enrollment initiatives.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for the school.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Respond to parent inquiries and support family engagement activities.
  • Conduct regular classroom learning visits.
  • Support instructional excellence through feedback, coaching, and monitoring of classroom culture and student engagement.
  • Assist with curriculum initiatives, school improvement planning, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support for teaching and support staff.
  • Assist with onboarding, mentoring, performance management, and implementation of school policies and expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive professional culture.
  • Coordinate extracurricular clubs, enrichment activities, and student leadership opportunities.
  • Plan and oversee field trips, ensuring appropriate permissions, risk assessments, transportation, and supervision.
  • Support student engagement through special events and school-wide activities.
  • Serve as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and support the implementation of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Maintain safeguarding records and ensure concerns are reported and addressed appropriately.
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Support emergency preparedness, including fire, lockdown, and evacuation drills.
  • Complete and maintain accident, incident, injury, and compliance records.
  • Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, committees, and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the campus.
