About The Position

Sayre Christian Village is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual care to residents, families, and staff in a faith-based, nonprofit community. This role involves leading worship services, Bible studies, and collaborating with the Life Enrichment Department to enhance resident programs and engagement. The ideal candidate has a genuine calling to ministry, a heart for serving seniors, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful spiritual care to residents, families, and staff, meeting people where they are in their faith journey and personal circumstances.
Facilitate regular worship services across campus, including sermon preparation and delivery, communion preparation, worship logistics, music coordination, and volunteer involvement.
Plan and lead weekly Bible studies for residents in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.
Work alongside the Life Enrichment Department to complement and enhance resident programs, worship opportunities, fellowship, and meaningful engagement.
