About The Position

Park Place of Elmhurst is seeking hardworking professional Campus Care Aide's. Park Place of Elmhurst offers a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. Requirements

Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly.
Must have a compassionate, empathetic, and nurturing personality.
Previous experience in long-term care.
Must be mature and career minded.

Responsibilities

Provide resident care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with established standards, and administrative policies.
Maintain accurate and complete records of care.
Perform all functions in compliance with CDC, OSHA, JCAHO, State and Federal Regulatory bodies.
Communicate and interpret the goals of care to the resident and family/caregiver.

Organizing activities
Meal and Special Events
Escorts
Ted Hose Application and Removal
Bed making and linen changes
Emptying Trash
Grooming and bathing assistance
Walking
Meal Delivery
Laundry Services
Pet Services (dog walking, feeding, watering and cat feeding, watering, and changing litter)
Assist with the Admissions process and greet residents and family members.
Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory.
Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
