About The Position

Dig Inn is seeking enthusiastic Harvard University students to serve as Campus Ambassadors this fall. This role involves driving sales through engaging classmates and securing catering contracts with student organizations and university offices. It is a hands-on position focused on building brand awareness, generating business results, and creating memorable experiences. The Campus Ambassador will work closely with the Marketing team to execute campus activations and achieve sales goals. The program duration is 13 weeks, from August 26 to November 18, 2026, across five campuses, with two ambassadors per campus: one focused on main menu growth and one on catering growth.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at Harvard University.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for food, community, and connecting people.
  • Comfort approaching strangers, running events, and representing a brand in person.
  • Comfort on Instagram and/or TikTok.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track and report on results.
  • A persistent attitude when it comes to finding the right person or landing the right event.
  • Availability to onboard starting August 12 and commit through November 18.

  • Interest in sales, business development, or event planning (for Catering track).

Responsibilities

  • Drive foot traffic and new visits to the nearest Dig Inn location (Main Menu Ambassador).
  • Run 4-6 small events per semester, including pop-up tabling, promo code distribution, and dorm takeovers (Main Menu Ambassador).
  • Post 2 Instagram stories or TikToks per month showcasing Dig Inn on campus (Main Menu Ambassador).
  • Track and report promo code distribution counts and redemption rates (Main Menu Ambassador).
  • Identify and map high-traffic campus zones for targeted marketing (Main Menu Ambassador).
  • Grow Dig Inn catering on campus by sponsoring and executing student organization events (Catering Ambassador).
  • Attend 2-3 organization meetings per semester to build relationships and distribute promo codes (Catering Ambassador).
  • Sponsor 2 catering events per semester, with a total catering value of $1,000 (Catering Ambassador).
  • Build and deliver a qualified catering lead sheet by the end of the semester (minimum 3-5 leads per ambassador, 10-25 total across all campuses) (Catering Ambassador).
  • Conduct targeted outreach to university admin offices in Phase 3 (Catering Ambassador).
  • Submit phase recap reports at the end of each program arc (Both Tracks).
  • Participate in bi-weekly check-ins with the Dig Inn growth team (Both Tracks).
  • Maintain a content log with screenshots and story views for all social posts (Both Tracks).
