About The Position

Dig Inn is seeking enthusiastic and food-passionate Harvard University students to serve as Campus Ambassadors for the fall semester. This role involves driving sales through direct engagement with classmates and securing catering contracts with student organizations and university departments. It is a hands-on position focused on building relationships, increasing brand awareness, and generating business results within the campus community. The Campus Ambassador will collaborate with the Marketing team to execute campus events, meet sales targets, and create positive brand experiences. The program spans 13 weeks, from August 26 to November 18, 2026, across five campuses, with two ambassadors per campus: one focusing on main menu growth and the other on catering growth.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA).
  • Genuine enthusiasm for food, community, and bringing people together.
  • Comfort approaching strangers, running events, and representing a brand in person.
  • Comfort using Instagram and/or TikTok.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track and report on results.
  • A persistent attitude when it comes to finding the right person or landing the right event.
  • Interest in sales, business development, or event planning (for Catering track).
  • Availability to onboard starting August 12 and commit through November 18.
  • Ability to track 13 weeks of program activity.

  • Interest in sales, business development, or event planning is a plus for the Catering track.

Responsibilities

  • Drive foot traffic and new visits to the nearest Dig Inn location.
  • Run 4-6 small events per semester, including pop-up tabling, promo code distribution, and dorm takeovers.
  • Post 2 Instagram stories or TikToks per month showcasing Dig Inn on campus.
  • Track and report promo code distribution counts and redemption rates.
  • Identify and map high-traffic campus zones for targeted marketing efforts.
  • Grow Dig Inn catering on campus by sponsoring and executing student organization events.
  • Attend 2-3 student organization meetings per semester to build relationships and distribute promo codes.
  • Sponsor 2 catering events per semester, totaling $1,000 in catering value.
  • Build and deliver a qualified catering lead sheet by the end of the semester (minimum 3-5 leads per ambassador, 10-25 total across all campuses).
  • Conduct targeted outreach to university administrative offices in Phase 3.
  • Submit phase recap reports at the end of each program arc.
  • Participate in bi-weekly check-ins with the Dig Inn growth team.
  • Maintain a content log with screenshots and story views for all social posts.
