About The Position

Yelp is hiring a Campus Ambassador to grow Yelp’s presence at the University of Southern California and build community among students. The ambassador will plan and host campus events, create social content, develop local guides, partner with university organizations, and promote local businesses. The role is part-time, hourly, and fixed-term from January through December 2027, with approximately 10 hours of work per week on a flexible schedule. The ambassador will receive support from Yelp’s community expansion team and collaborate with other campus ambassadors.

Requirements

Currently enrolled as a student at USC and planning to remain enrolled through December 2027.
Live on or within 30 minutes of USC campus housing.
Available to work 10 hours per week through the end of 2027.
Genuinely enjoy helping people discover and support local businesses.
Have leadership and planning experience among friends, in a club, on a team, or in a dorm.
Be savvy on social media and able to turn a meal into a moment.
Be full of ideas, take initiative, and know how to make things happen.
Be organized and reliable, and able to balance the role with coursework.

Responsibilities

Plan and host 2–3 Yelp events or experiences each semester for university students.
Create original content for Yelp’s social channels.
Build local guides and encourage students to discover and share their favorite businesses on Yelp.
Partner with university clubs and organizations to promote the Yelp community.
Develop creative grassroots marketing ideas that get students talking about Yelp.
Attend regular check-ins with the Yelp U program lead and share event results and campus insights.
