About The Position

Bingemans is seeking Camping Resort Attendants who will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to guests in the Bingemans Camping Resort. Bingemans is one of the Waterloo Region's largest and most dynamic meeting and conference facilities, with over 70 years of successful event experience. We are Waterloo Region's leader in hospitality providing the very best in family entertainment. With amenities ranging from the Big Splash Water Park, FunWorX Indoor Playland and the Bingemans Camping Resort, we are the ticket for exceptional fun! In the fall, we turn into Canada’s most terrifying haunted attraction- Screampark. In October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus is home to thousands of guests to celebrate KW Oktoberfest (North America's largest Bavarian festival). Bingemans is in the business of providing Grand Experiences!

Requirements

• Excellent customer service experience required.
• Ability to handle customer conflicts and complaints and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Data entry into computerized reservation system.
• G2 Driver’s license is required.
• Must provide Driver’s Abstract.
• Must be available to work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous work in a campground or hotel and enrollment in a hospitality and/or tourism program is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing all duties of the front desk agent (including opening and closing)
• Taking reservations, registering campers, selling passes to Big Splash and FunworX as well as items in the Camper Store.
• Answering incoming calls, responding to online reservations, and completing campground checks.
• Performing basic housekeeping duties in the public area washrooms, shower facilities, cabins, and yurts (approximately 40% of the time).
• Perform any other duties as requested by a supervisor or management staff.
