You will get to interface with a lot of different people and groups within Ford. Be the eyes and ears of ICE Engineers. The aim of Campaign Prevent Process is to prevent campaigns and recalls. It can be divided into three segments: 1. Upstream: Deep Dive Reviews and Virtual Fresh Eyes Reviews conducted as part of the design process. 2. Midstream: Workstation readiness reviews. Confirm product & process requirements are understood at the workstation level and that the manufacturing process has the potential to produce product consistently meeting these requirements. 3. Downstream: Physical Fresh Eyes Reviews (FERs) of prototype, pre-durability, post-durability, pre-production, and production vehicles. The Campaign Prevention Process (CPS) leads each segment of the campaign prevent process.

Requirements

  • Expertise to bridge the gap between product design and manufacturing.
  • Understanding of ICE Propulsion and Thermal Systems (IPTSE).
  • Familiarity with Campaign Prevent Process (CPS) segments: Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream.
  • Ability to conduct Deep Dive Reviews and Virtual Fresh Eyes Reviews.
  • Capability to perform Workstation readiness reviews.
  • Experience with Physical Fresh Eyes Reviews (FERs).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead each segment of the campaign prevent process (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream).
  • Conduct Deep Dive Reviews and Virtual Fresh Eyes Reviews as part of the design process (Upstream).
  • Perform Workstation readiness reviews to confirm product & process requirements are understood and the manufacturing process can consistently meet them (Midstream).
  • Execute Physical Fresh Eyes Reviews (FERs) of prototype, pre-durability, post-durability, pre-production, and production vehicles (Downstream).
  • Interface with different people and groups within Ford.
  • Act as the eyes and ears of ICE Engineers.
