About The Position

As Campaign Lead, you will partner closely with the Chief Development Officer, CEO, campaign volunteers, and principal donors to help drive the largest fundraising effort in NatureBridge's history. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence campaign strategy, build relationships with transformational philanthropists, and help shape the future of an organization serving more than 30,000 students annually. This is an opportunity for a development professional who is both strategic and highly organized, someone who can manage complexity, build strong relationships, and keep a major campaign moving forward with clarity and momentum. The Campaign Lead will direct campaign implementation, ensuring that priorities are clear, stakeholders are aligned, and progress is consistently advancing. Success in this role will expand access to outdoor education for thousands of students each year, deepen the quality of programs delivered in national parks, and support NatureBridge’s ability to serve future generations. This position takes place fully remotely, and can be performed by any candidate in the United States.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of progressive fundraising or development experience, including capital campaign and major gift fundraising
  • Demonstrated experience in prospect research, cultivation, solicitation planning, and donor stewardship
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience working with boards, volunteers, donors, and consultants
  • Experience supporting campaign committees or volunteer leadership groups
  • Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge or similar donor databases, with strong attention to data accuracy
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of the capital campaign across the quiet, major gift, and public phases
  • Manage the campaign prospect pipeline in alignment with the overall campaign goals and timeline
  • Monitor progress toward campaign goals and benchmarks, recommending strategy adjustments as needed
  • Develop and maintain clear, consistent campaign reports for staff and volunteer leadership
  • Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies; manage prospect lists, research, and briefing materials
  • Prepare donor communications, proposals, and briefing materials, and support coordination and follow-up for donor engagement
  • Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of donor and prospect data
  • Advise on and participate in major gift solicitations as appropriate
  • Coordinate and support campaign committees, including volunteer recruitment, training, and preparation for solicitations
  • Prepare materials, manage logistics, and provide updates and analysis for volunteer and senior leadership meetings
  • Develop and maintain campaign materials and donor communications
  • Develop donor acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship strategies and support cultivation events
  • Maintain positive working relationships and strict confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Development Officer
