The purpose of the recruiter position is to recruit migrant and/or seasonal farmworkers and/or their immediate family members who are eligible for admission and enrollment at the university through the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). The recruiter will assist participants with the University admission process and CAMP enrollment. This will be an 11-month appointment (month off to be determined). This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship. This position is not eligible for a hybrid/remote work schedule. Department Overview: The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists students who are migratory or seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers) enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at Boise State University. The program supports completion of the first year of studies. Services include counseling, tutoring, skills workshops, financial aid stipends, health services, and other supportive assistance to eligible students during their first year of college. Level Scope: Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision-making. This level is typically focused on self-development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.
