About The Position

Provides management and operational oversight of assigned remote camp Food Service and Housekeeping activities, including supervision of employees, work assignments, inventory, supplies, vendor requirements, and budget controls. Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and delivering quality customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least seven (7) years of related service based, hospitality, food service, housekeeping, hotel, or camp management experience.
  • Two (2) years of significant overall supervisory responsibilities for a distinct business operation.
  • Purchasing and inventory control experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
  • Confident, articulate and clear communication skills and able to work with various, diverse individuals within our company, vendors, suppliers, and others.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Able to work independently and as a team-player and able to work with others.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy objects.
  • Ability to maintain records, inventory and prepare reports.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate an ethical conduct competency.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a primary resource for Food Service and Housekeeping employees within assigned unit.
  • Review technical components of vendor contracts, pricing and terms.
  • Manages various subordinate supervisors and assigned employees.
  • This position provides management and oversight of an assigned group of remote camp activities.
  • Establishes and implements an organized system of supervision and formal operating procedures.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements.
  • Leads, directs and communicates with staff to keep them informed and motivated. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all assigned employees are defined and understood.
  • Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
  • Approves assigned area's weekly paperwork, supply orders and monthly inventories to stay within budget expenditures.
  • Supports an active and comprehensive safety program.
  • Ensures use of appropriate equipment, PPE and cleaning solutions for all tasks.
  • Reviews various cleaning schedules to determine required duties.
  • Manages removal and transport of trash to the appropriate disposal areas; linens; cleanliness of other areas such as general offices; restocking of sleeping rooms and bathrooms, verifying that towels, sheets and blankets are available for each appropriate room.
  • Assists with various periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
  • Promote, establish and maintain a safe work environment for all employees and clients.
  • Willingness to promote CPOS core values and provide quality customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
