The role involves a business need for on-site housing, which the employee must accept as a condition of employment. The employee will be responsible for the stewardship of all camp facilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds, ensuring their functionality, safety, and aesthetic quality. This includes developing and executing repair plans, overseeing maintenance and housekeeping departments, managing budgets, and coordinating special projects. The position requires the ability to assess and address various facility issues, coordinate staff, and work patiently with young summer staff members.
