Camp Counselor
About The Position
Sea Colony Recreational Association, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Camp Counselor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position that will last 6 months or less. The Camp Counselor will assist in the oversight care of children while they are participating in programming. This person must be highly responsible, attentive and understanding of children and their needs.
Requirements
- At least one year of childcare, counselor, or teaching experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills required.
- Highly responsive and reliable.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Care for and ensure that the children of the programs are well supervised and having fun at all times.
- Follow the guidelines of the program set in place by management.
- Provide a safe and fun environment.
- Communicate with the head counselor and manager as needed.
